Son Vent 1b is situated in the prestigious area near the Hotel Illa d'Or, immediately behind the Pine Walk, approximately 50 metres from the sea. The apartment is south facing.
The main bedroom has a large, comfortable double bed. The full bathroom has a shower and the second is a shower room with WC. The spacious living/dining area is comfortably furnished with upholstered sofas and easy chairs, recovered 2007, also English TV and DVD, and opens onto the balcony. The dining area is furnished with 'Spanish style' table, chairs and sideboard. The kitchen has cutlery, plates, cups, glasses sufficient for 6 and there are plenty of cooking utensils and saucepans. The washing machine and clothes dryer are in the utility room.
Hot/cold air conditioning is installed with backup fans and radiators. Cots and/or high chairs can be rented, if required. All linen and towels, except beach towels, are provided. On a 2 week stay, a half way quick clean and change of linen is made by staff from Vigilante, a management firm, who would also help in an emergency. |

Accessibility
The apartment is on the first floor and is accessed by stairs. It would not be very
convenient for a wheelchair user. There is a parking space beneath the apartment.
Further Details
The majority of the restaurants and the shops are a pleasant stroll along the Pine Walk. However, there is a very jolly and welcoming bar/restaurant just up the road which has also a pool and tennis court. During the season Friday night at the Bonanca bar is party night! Adjacent is a small supermarket and hairdresser. Public outdoor displays of dancing etc are also held at the Hotel Illa d'Or bar on certain evenings each week. While a car is not a necessity, having one allows further exploration of this beautiful island. A bus service runs along the Formentor road, behind the apartment.
