Travelling from Palma airport to Puerto Pollensa

If you have booked your holiday with a tour operator who offers a coach transfer you will have no problems getting to your destination. You will see the holiday reps as you leave the luggage collection point. However do note, the airport is extremely big and you appear to walk for miles once leaving the plane. So if you, or any of your party, have any difficulty in walking do ask for assistance from either the tour operator and/or the airline.

If you don't have a coach transfer arranged you have a choice between hire car, taxi or bus.

By Car from Palma Airport - Directions

If you are collecting a hire car, you will find the collection points of most of the hire companies just after the luggage reclaim and before you pass through the exit into the main arrivals area. The cars are situated on the bottom-level of the multi-storey car park opposite the arrivals area (you will need to cross the road). Each car hire company has its own group of parking spaces.

0	Exit the airport and follow the directions to PALMA on to the motorway (PM 19)
3.4	Leave at junction 6 signposted ES COLL D'EN RABASSA, INCA (PM-30). On the roundabout (by Carrefour hypermarket) take the 3rd exist signed SON FERRIOL, INCA.
5.6	At the roundabout take the 2nd exit to INCA.
6.8	At the roundabout take the 2nd exit to INCA.
8.1	At the roundabout take the 2nd exit to INCA.
10.5	At the roundabout take the 1st exit to INCA.
11.0	You will see the DIY store Leroy Merlin on your right. Bear right towards INCA, PORT D'ALCUDIA. You will be on the slip road for the motorway (PM27). As you join it you will see the hypermarket Alcampo on the right.
32.1	You arrive at a large traffic island at the entrance to INCA. Take the FIRST exit (RIGHT) to PORT D'ALCUDIA. This is the Inca bypass (C713). Follow this road through 3 roundabouts, following signs for ALCUDIA.
	There are currently major road works on the Inca Bypass. Watch out for diversions! Look for the signs to Pollenca.
41.2	You reach a roundabout at the junction of BUGER and CAMPANET. Go straight on following the signs to PORT D'ALCUDIA/POLLENCA.
46.5	You reach a large roundabout, POLLENCA signposted LEFT and SA POBLA signed right. Turn LEFT to POLLENCA (PM 222)
58.1	The road will by-pass the old town of POLLENCA on the left and you may see the Puig de Maria on the right. You reach a major roundabout. Filter to the RIGHT to PORT DE POLLENCA.
58.1	You go over a major new roundabout and enter the town of PORT DE POLLENCA (Puerto Pollensa). After a few hundred metres you see the Caprabo supermarket on the left.

Direct Airport bus to Palma is no. 1 - around 7 km - 1.80 €
runs between 06:10 - 02:10 - around every 15 mins - goes via Plaza España.

Bus from Palma to Puerto Pollensa starts from the Bus Station in C/ Eusebi Estada near Plaza España (train station). You can also take the train to Sa Pobla and then the bus to Puerto Pollensa.
